Mornè works as a Legal Executive. He is also a qualified non-practising South African attorney, admitted to practice as such in 2003. Prior to moving to Ireland in 2018 Mornè was a partner at a leading commercial law firm in Pretoria, which served a wide variety of clients throughout South Africa and abroad. He is an experienced litigator, and also served as a Commissioner of the Small Claims Court in South Africa for more than 10 years.
Before joining MDM Solicitors, he trained as a Legal Costs Accountant, where he gained valuable experience in the preparation and taxation / adjudication of Bills of Costs and matters ancillary thereto.
He has a keen interest in consumer protection and published a number of papers in South African Law Journals on this topic.
